Día de los Muertos is a long-running immersive event at CityArts, where Halloween and horror-themed artwork is displayed in the venue’s various galleries, as well as in a pop-up marketplace. A cornerstone of the festivities is a costume-optional gala where guests enjoy themed food options and live entertainment.
Challenge
Remixed was tasked with developing an ancillary brand that tied in with Downtown Arts District’s overarching language, while conveying the tone of the event’s festivities.
Solution
Remixed created a monogramatic logo that forms a colorful skull. In keeping with the vibrant traditions of Mexico’s Día de los Muertos, we developed an array of tactics for on-site purposes as well as OOH event promotions.
