Art & History Museums Maitland is a cultural gem, located in the northeast quadrant of the Greater Orlando area. Home to several museums and galleries, the sprawling campus provides visitors access to Victorian-era relics, glimpses into the evolution of communications, and spectacular visual art exhibitions, along with top-tier cultural and educational programming throughout the year.

CHALLENGE

Remixed was invited to reposition A&H as a cultural cornerstone in Central Florida. From collaborating with DIx+Hite in the development of the wayfinding system to deploying an overarching brand strategy, we endeavored to create a system designed to connect the wide demographic range of audiences with the far-reaching, multi-faceted institution.

SOLUTION

Remixed collaborated with the organization's Executive Director to bring the repositioning to fruition. Taking a nod from the Mayan Revival architecture, Remixed put together a visual language that spoke to the variety of offerings available throughout the campus. Shortly following the launch of the rebrand, A&H's Maitland Art Center became Central Florida's first National Historic Landmark.
